Rock Hill – Mrs. Joann Ward Seay, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Harvest Ministries Church of God, with Rev. Gary Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm at the church. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park – Hollis Lakes Road.
Born in York, SC, Mrs. Seay was the daughter of the late Walter Ward and the late Ellie Moses Ward. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Ward; and her sisters, Faye Hines, Marie Hagan, and Nancy Brakefield. She loved her family and her church and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Harvest Ministries Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Darnell Seay; three sons, Tim (Lee Ann) Seay, Shann (Kathy) Seay, and Dean (Tina) Seay; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Frances White; and her brother-in-law, Howard Brakefield.
