John “Sonny” Lathem Polk, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home in Rock Hill on Tuesday October 6 at the age of 84.
Sonny is survived by his wife Kay of 67 years, his son Brad and wife Lynn as well as his daughter Shannen and her husband Frank. He also has two sons who have since passed, Greg and Andrew. Sonny has six grandchildren Jason Polk, Destiny Rabon, Jenna Wilson, Anna Harrigan, Haley Boyd and Lani McGaha. Also 3 great grandchildren Sadie Polk, Wyatt Mullinax and Charlee Wilson.
