Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Joseph D. Boatwright, 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Boatwright was the son of the late Richard Boatwright and the late Kathrine Locklair Boatwright. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Pansy Austin and Patricia Stauffer. In his free time, you would often find him at flea markets searching for treasures. He loved finding antiques and model race cars. He also enjoyed collecting rare coins. Mr. Boatwright also proudly served in the United States Army.
Surviving are his sister, Brenda (Sukhdeo) Mahadeo of Hickory, NC; his brother, Richard L. (Linda) Boatwright; and several nieces and nephews.
