JP, age 45 passed away March 27, 2024. Born on October 29th 1978 and raised in Rock Hill, JP was the son of the late Sue and Jule Rogers. He has one sister, Reggie Grigg (David) a niece, Darby and nephew Mason.
There was never a dull moment when JP was around. To know him was to love him and he was dearly loved by many. JP was an amazing heavy equipment operator who could run a wide range of equipment. He was passionate about his collection of toy tractors, equipment and farm implements. He enjoyed working on equipment, trucks and small engines.
He was extremely creative and often built his own designs. He loved his dog Skeeter who went with him everywhere and even rode with him on equipment. They were quite the pair.
There will be a Memorial Service honoring JP Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. Family will receive friends following the service at 12pm. JP’s service will be live streamed and can be accessed on the home page of the Greene Funeral Home website, www.greenefuneralhome.net
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ground 40, an intense six-month addiction recovery program for men based in North Carolina.
