Kathy Kiser Gibson, age 73 passed peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Kathy was born to the late Carol and Dorothy “Crawford”
Kiser on May 28, 1952 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Marvin Gibson. She is survived by three sons, Jamie Sutton, Ronny Gibson and Shane Gibson. She is survived by one grandson, Austin, one granddaughter Alexis and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three sisters, Patricia Kiser (widow of Jerry McCall) of New Port Richey, Florida, Janice Kiser James (widow of Douglas James) of Kannapolis, North Carolina and Kelly Kiser (longtime partner, Jimmy Sechler) of Concord, North Carolina. Kathy’s three nephews are Jerry Jr. and Michael McCall, Matthew James and two nieces Megan James and Madeline Wimer.
Kathy was a dedicated employee of Frito Lay and retired with 30 years of service.
Kathy’s passion was cooking. She also baked and canned food for her family and friends. Seeing others enjoying her cooking truly filled her heart with love.
Another passion for Kathy were her animals. At the time of her passing she had Sophia and T-Tiny. Her “babies” were a great source of love and comfort to her.
A celebration of life will be held at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732, on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 2:00.
