Lana Huddleston, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, passed away on April 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born in 1942 to the late Pearl H. Gibson and J.B. Gibson. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Reid C. Huddleston, and together they shared nearly 64 years of marriage, built on faith and family.

She was a loving mother to her two children, Lisa Watson and Tim Huddleston (Kim), and a blessed grandmother to five grandchildren: Lindsey Ashworth (Nathan), Evan Watson (Sarah), Tyler Huddleston (Leah), Brittany Hutchins (Chris), and Brantlee Huddleston (Bryson). She was an especially proud Nana to her three great-grandchildren—River, Camden, and Harper—who brought her endless joy.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry and Johnny, her sister, Carolyn, and her son-in-law, Jeff.

A faithful and active member of First Baptist Church, she lived her life as a reflection of her deep faith. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and was known for her kind heart and warm smile.  If she told you she was praying for you, she truly meant it—she lifted many up in prayer daily.

She remained active and full of life until being diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis this past November. Even then, her positivity never left her. She had recently begun to improve and had set a goal for herself to attend church on Mother’s Day—a testament to her steadfast faith.

Her life was a beautiful example of love, grace, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration Of Life service will be held this Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive visitors prior from 10:00am – 10:45am. Interment will follow service at Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
