Rock Hill, SC – Laura Marie Bodkins, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home.
Laura was born on October 31, 1937, to the late Provin Stevenson and Ruby Wilson Stevenson, in Rock Hill, SC. During her life, she was very devoted to her family and her church, Grace Baptist Church in York.
She is survived by her sons, Ed Bodkins, Keith Bodkins, Howard Bodkins, Steve Bodkins, Larry Reeves, Frank Bodkins, and Mike Bodkins; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bodkins is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bodkins; her son, Bruce Bodkins; her parents, Provin and Ruby Stevenson; her brothers, Marion Stevenson, James Stevenson, Carol Stevenson, and Johnnie Stevenson; and her sisters, Betty Workman and Sandra Copeland.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Laura Bodkins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, 475 S Shiloh Rd, York, SC 29745.
