CATAWBA, SC – Mrs. Leatrice (Lee) Devinney, 102, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her home. Born in Chesterfield, Mrs. Devinney was a daughter of the late Hoyt Dudley Sellers and the late Bertie Hurst Sellers.
Lee was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Robert Lee Devinney Jr., two brothers, Harlan Legette Sellers and John William Sellers, and three sisters, Lois Sellers Rivers, Lydia Sellers Sims, and Geneva Sellers Cannon.
Surviving are her sons, Robert (Bobby) Lee Devinney III (Patsy) of Monroe, La. and Timothy (Timmy) Dean Devinney of Rock Hill; her daughter, Delois “Lois” Devinney Bailes of Catawba; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00pm at Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 Anderson Rd S, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with Dr. Ron Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill, SC 29732 and other times at the home.
