Linda Kay Davis, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Willie T. Oliver and the late Nellie Marie Patterson Oliver. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Frank J. Davis, whose memory she cherished deeply.

Linda is survived by her devoted children, Scott Davis (Adriana), Holly Payne, and Todd Davis (Rhonda), as well as her brother, Roger Oliver. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Tina Oliver Carter (Larry) and Jennifer Tate; her cherished grandchildren, Leah Sweatt, Brett Davis, Brooks Payne, Brie Davis, Brook Bilbo, and Alessandro Guedes; her great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy, Shae Payne, Bryson Sweatt, Blakeley Payne, Addaley Payne, Noraley Payne, Sophia Davis, Abigail Davis, and Caroline Davis; as well as her great-great-grandchildren, Ash Asmer and Lucca Guedes.

Linda was preceded in death by her sisters Judy Wilson and Teresa Oliver, as well as her brother Jerome Oliver.

A woman of adventure, Linda embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved to travel, race, and water ski, always seeking the next thrill. Her competitive spirit and determination were matched by her deep love for her family. Linda was a fantastic cook, she took great pleasure in bringing people together around the table, sharing not just meals but cherished moments.

A service for Linda will take place at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. on Wednesday, April 16, at 6 PM, with visitation following for friends to speak to the family.  Burial will take place the next day, Thursday, April 17, at 10 AM at Forest Hills Cemetery 4290 Old York Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations or memorials be made to the Fort Mill Church of God, to the Senior Young at Heart group.
