Rock Hill, SC – Margaret A. Williams, 67, passed away on April 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Rock Hill, SC, on June 20, 1957, to the late Palmer and Nellie Miller Wright.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Williams Jr.; her son, James “Stanley” Worthy Jr.; and her siblings, Jerry Wright, Alge Wright, Clark Wright, Dunlap Wright, Grady Wright, Linda Jenkins, and Donna Kay Carder.
She is survived by her siblings, Wayne “Hot Rod” Wright, Betty Porter, and Pat Baker; her children, Ryan (Jamie) Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Bryan (Aly) Williams of Chester, SC, Dale (Michelle) Williams of Fort Lawn, SC, Anthony (Teresa) Williams of Chester, SC, and Donnie (Elizabeth) Levister of Winnsboro, SC; a special great-nephew, Andrew Fox; special nieces, Teresa Fox and Jennifer Donnell; her friend, Patricia Urvina; twenty grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Maragaret was a homemaker, a great cook, an avid bingo player, and the best family baby sitter of many children.
A service for Margaret Williams will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with Pastor Duncan Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurens Street, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
