Rock Hill, SC – Margaret M. Devinney, 92, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Born June 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William McKinney and Josie B. Houser McKinney of Rock Hill. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Broome and Carolyn Bartles (David) both in Rock Hill.
Mrs. Devinney had five grandchildren, Michele Dixon (Gene), Lee McClellan (Anna), Beth Freeman (Rion), Lisa Burrell (Derek), and Stephanie Gray; eleven great-grandchildren, Parker, Landon, Kallah, Luke, Jude, Mary Katherine, Matthew, Hunter, Payton, Rylan, and Cameron; her three-great-great-grandchildren, Maysen, Stetson, and AvaLeigh.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill for 50 years. A homemaker most of her life, and a very meticulous one at that!
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. All friends are welcome.
