Rock Hill – Ms. Maria Caroline Low, 49, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Woodland United Methodist Church, 801 N. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Maria was born in Rock Hill, SC and was the daughter of Ted Low and the late Beulah R. Low. She loved helping others, especially those who had experienced hardship or adversity in their lives. She was a dog lover and leaves behind her precious Semi and her friend Rob. Maria had an exceptional talent for interior design and decorated her parent’s home immaculately, as well as other friends and families’ homes. Maria spent most of her life in Rock Hill and was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and York Technical College. She loved kids and frequently kept and entertained her nieces and nephews, as well as other friends’ children.
Much like her late mother, Maria’s favorite Bible verse was 1 Corinthians 13:13. We find peace that the two of them are now rejoicing in Heaven with their Lord.
In addition to her father, Ted Low, Maria is survived by her brothers, Chris Low (Julia Rohr) of Knoxville, TN and Patrick Low (Dawn Carpenter) of Rock Hill; her nephews, Josh Low (Christina), Adam Low and Sean Low; her niece, Sierra Moore; and great-nieces, Wrinley Low and Mariah McIntyre.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Maria’s name to Grace House, PO Box 407, Santee, SC 29142.
