Rock Hill, South Carolina – Marian Good Scott, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Marian was born on August 17, 1948 in York, S.C. She was the daughter of the late George Good & Jean McManus Good. Marian had a very strong work ethic that led her to various occupations including the York County Historical Society, support of a local law firm, & learning every facet of the income tax business. Then in 1990, she and partner Brenda Elliott opened BMA Tax Service. After 34 years, they still maintain a faithful following that has developed into many friendships as well as loyal customers.
Marian is survived by her son Josh Scott & sister Carolyn Turner (Mike). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Greg Scott and brother Eddie Good.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of HarborChase of Riverwalk, Hospice Community Care, and Angie George for their compassionate care of Marian.
