Rock Hill, SC – Mary C. Wicker, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Kempton of Rock Hill.
Mrs. Wicker was a graduate of Limestone College and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. During her work life, she worked for Rock Hill Printing and Finishing, Lowenstein and Sons Inc, and Springs Industries. She had a kind and caring heart and enjoyed gardening well into her 80’s. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Wicker was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Duane Wicker; her brothers, Leon Cunnup, Keith Cunnup, Carey Cunnup, and William Cunnup; and her sisters, Martha Farris, Catherine Hunsucker, and Frances Gardener as well as one grandchild, Christopher Cobb.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. Faust (Denise) of Catawba, SC; her daughter, Cathy Barattini (Gary) of Rock Hill, SC; her sister, Barbara Thompson of Fort Mill, SC; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kempton Memory Care and to the staff at Via Health Hospice.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Grace Lutheran Church, 426 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
