Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Mary Nancy Luchs, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, May 19, 2025.
Born in Newark, NJ on September 26, 1937 Nancy was the daughter of the late John Kondas and the late Mary Kondas.
Nancy attended St. Mary’s High School in N.J., and Newark Preparatory School. Where she graduated in business. Nancy spent decades as a legal assistant in New Jersey.
Nancy leaves behind her dear husband, James Luchs; her daughters, Karen Hulak and Diane Todd; six grandchildren, Michele Maurer, David Todd, Stephanie Todd, Amanda, Ashley, Andrea; and seven great-grandchildren, Kingsley Cook, Sebastian Maurer, Isabella Maurer, Evelyn Maurer, Ezra Todd, Erik Todd and Sophia Argentino.
Nancy enjoyed a happy busy social life. Living in New Jersey, she served as president at the Colts-Neck and Holmdel Newcomers Club, attended social gatherings and fundraising. Nancy served as an activity director planning major events in Atlantic City Casinos. Her duties required advanced planning, choosing caterers and trips all done within the law on non-profit, etc.
Nancy loved a great time, as well as enjoying her days with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had joy not only in responsibilities but also in the fun in fellowship they brought.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
