Clover, SC – Mr. Matthew Edward Schettler, 44, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his home.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at All Saints Catholic Church, 530 Hwy. 274, Clover, SC 29710 with Father John Guiliana officiating.  Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation with family and friends will follow the service at the church.

Born in Kokomo, IN, Mr. Schettler was the son of Gregory Edward Schettler and Constance Anne Brinkel Schettler.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Edward Schettler; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Kathryn Schettler; his maternal grandfather, Edward Brinkel.  He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, having served one tour of duty in Iraq as an Arabic linguist. He was a Senior Vice President, Senior Business Continuity Consult with Bank of America. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Clover.

Mr. Schettler is survived by his wife, Lindsay Foelber Schettler; his two sons, Christian Edward Schettler, and Michael Edward Schettler; his daughter, Kathryn Baer Schettler; his brother, Brian Edward (Heather) Schettler of Chester, SC; his nephews, Jakob Schettler, Ryder, Lucas and Cody Britan; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Brinkel of Ohio; his in-laws, Richard and Barbara Foelber; sisters-in-law, Missy (Ed) Britan and Kelly Foelber.
