Rock Hill, SC – Michael McClanahan, 61, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill.
Mr. McClanahan was born on June 20, 1961, to the late Roy Edward McClanahan and Ellen Virginia Tilley McClanahan, in Rock Hill, SC. In his working life, he worked as a layer for Okuma Corporation. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his niece, Denise Marhan (Pat) of York, SC, and her children, Lindsey Blais (David) and daughter Everly, of Monk’s Corner, SC; Patrick Marhan (Jessie) of Sharon, SC; and Robert Marhan (Lailia) of York, SC; and Michael’s sister-in-law, Judy McClanahan, of York, SC.
Mr. McClanahan is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James and Sammy McClanahan.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. McClanahan at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery, 1450 Anderson Rd S, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
