Rock Hill, SC – Nancy Elizabeth Key, 62, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at her home.
Nancy was born on August 5, 1961, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Cordie Montgomery and Macie Lou Key. Nancy loved to be around her family. She enjoyed winning scratch-off tickets, going out and having fun, and cooking. She worked for several years at the Little Café and amongst family and friends, was always willing to speak her mind and help those in need. She especially loved all seven of her grandchildren and fondly enjoyed traveling to the beach to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children, James Key, Macie Key, and Betty Key; her grandchildren, Carlos, Nickolas, Montes, Ashley, Amaya, and Jaydan; her siblings, Roger Key of Rock Hill, Peggy Key of Kingston, NC, David Key (Deborah) of Rock Hill, Sharron Littlejohn of Rock Hill, Tony Key of Rock Hill, and Maycie Lloyd of Rock Hill; and her many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Macie Key and Cordie Montgomery; the father of her children, Wylie Cousar; her grandchildren, Travis Cathcart Jr. and Baby Martinez-Key, and her siblings, Phyllis Freeman, John Key, Charles Key, Sam Key, Jimmy Walker, and Mary Francis Key.
A funeral service will be held for Nancy Key at 2:00PM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
