Rock Hill, SC – Nancy Thatcher Wells, 92, passed away on March 20, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care. She was born on December 4, 1932, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Albert L. Thatcher and the late Mary Louise Covington Thatcher. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda C. Wells of Rock Hill, SC.
Nancy was a devoted member of Adnah Church, a Global Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and belonged to the Corinthian Chapter 297. Before retiring, Nancy owned and operated Wells Grocery in Rock Hill, SC.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Adnah Church: A Global Methodist Church, 1 Adnah Dr., Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
