Rock Hill, SC – It is with profound faith in God’s plan that we announce the peaceful passing of Naomi Joy Campana on February 9, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born on March 25, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Rev. Joseph and Vivian Campana.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Louise Adams (Shane), Rachel Marie Sleek; sister, Ruth D’Angelo; grandchildren, David Jonah Adams, George Maximus Sleek; nephews, Frank D’Angelo (Christine), Mark D’Angelo (Patty), David D’Angelo (Pam); Niece, Erica D’Angelo Lester (John); former husband, Alfred E. Tauss. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, George E. Sleek Jr.
Ms. Campana was a registered nurse; a profession she dedicated her life to. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherished aunt, faithful friend, and caregiver to all. She will be fondly remembered for expressing her love through cooking, and for her service to the church through playing the piano.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Westminster Presbyterian Chapel, 1320 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732 with Reverend Jonathan Taylor officiating. The interment will take place at Laurelwood Cemetery after the service.
