Rock Hill, SC – Nicholas Adam Huneycutt, lovingly known as “Nick,” was born on October 22, 1980, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1999 and went on to build a life defined by faith, family, hard work, and a passion for all things fast and mechanical.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with Reverend Jay Rebsamen officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

When he left this world, he left behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A Man of Faith and Heart
Nick was a true believer in the Lord, always giving credit to God for the blessings in his life. His faith shaped the way he loved, the way he worked, and the way he showed up for others. He lived with a grateful heart and a steady trust in God’s plan.

Fueled by Passion
From a young age, Nick had gasoline in his veins. His love for exotic and fast cars wasn’t just a hobby—it became his livelihood. He proudly owned and operated his own transport business, turning his passion into a career he genuinely loved. Whether it was drag racing, tinkering under a hood, or simply talking cars with friends, Nick was in his element whenever wheels were turning and engines were roaring.
He could fix anything he put his hands on. If something was broken, Nick was the one you called. And he’d show up maybe with a few choice words but always with a full heart and the determination to help.

A Life Filled With Joy
Nick had a gift for making people laugh. He was the guy everyone knew, the friend who could brighten a room, the person you could talk to about anything. He loved the lake, the pool, cruises, Mexican food, and the simple joy of being surrounded by the people he cared about. He adored his animals, including his famously wild hermit crabs, who somehow always managed to survive under his watch.

Family Above All
Nick’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 23 years, Heather Huneycutt; his children, Lacie and Nicholas; his moms, Alyssa Huneycutt and Sue Bishop; his siblings, Taylor (Zach) Merritt, Will (Kallie) Wade, David (Shawna) Ross, Christy (Angie) Mitchem; his in-laws, Keith “Doc” and Lori Holliday; his brother in law, Matt (Chantelle) Holliday; and a large, beautiful family of nieces and nephews who adored him. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Huneycutt.

A Legacy That Lives On
Nick lived boldly, loved deeply, and gave generously. He was a husband, father, son, brother, friend, and helper to anyone who needed him. His laughter, his stories, and his unwavering presence will be missed more than words can express.
And in true Nick fashion, he leaves behind a style and confidence all his own. No one else could wear Crocs, Carhartt, and a gold chain every single day — and pull it off with that big, beautiful head and that unforgettable charm. It was uniquely him, and it brought smiles to everyone who saw him.

Though he has left this earthly world, the impact he made through his kindness, his humor, and his love-will continue to shine through the lives of those who knew him.
