Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Nora Mae Gaulden, 95, died April 20, 2026 at Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Friendship Church, 1200 Neely Store Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730. The funeral will be at 11:00 am with Pastor Lynn Shore-Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Church Cemetery.
Born in 1930, Mrs. Gaulden was employed by Celanese, Macke Vending, and Springs Creative. She was a member of Friendship Church, where she was in the choir, a member of the Lynn Lewis Sunday School class, lay leader to the conference, and in charge of the kitchen for many functions. She was recognized in the Congressional Record on September 5, 2018 by Ralph Norman, U.S. Representative.
Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Dickson (Lindsay) and Vickie Haste (Jeff); 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Rufus Gaulden, daughter, Sandra Stilley, her parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
