Ottis Defoe Greer, 81, of Rock Hill SC passed away peacefully at his home Friday, June 20, 2025.
Burial will be private at a later date.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio. Ottis was the son of the late Ottis and Humana Greer. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah of 54 years, brothers Edward Ray and William Harold, and sister Mary Lane (18 months)
Ottis was a US Navy Veteran. He enjoyed working on heavy equipment and was an avid fan of trains. He was collector of many things.
He is survived by sons Jimmy Defoe (Angela) Greer of Lancaster SC, Coy Rion (Vanessa) Greer of Pleasanton TX, granddaughter Kimberlyn Greer of Lancaster SC, sisters Laura Janette Greer of London KY, Arah Mae (Dennis) Williams of Rock Hill SC, Roetta Sue Moran of CA. A special friend and Tracy Thomas (Audrey) and his beloved dog Layla.
