Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Patricia Sybil Stogner Bowling, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend John Bauknight officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 4:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pat was born in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of the late Ted J. Stogner and the late Norma Dowdle Stogner. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church for 40 years. She loved butterflies, gardening, beach music, shagging, and fishing. The family wants to thank Visiting Angels and Providence Hospice for the love and support they provided.
Surviving are her spouse, Larry Bowling; two daughters, Suzette Sistare (Ken) Johnson of Chapin, SC, Yvette Sistare of Columbia, SC; sister, Janice Stogner (Scott) of Columbia, SC; two granddaughters, Blythe (Tony) Biviano of Chapin, SC, Devin Porter of Swansboro, NC; sister-in-law, Lois Presley of Concord, NC; nephew, Morris Edward Presley, II of Concord, NC; four great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
