Rock Hill, SC – Peggy Potts Faile, 86, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at her home.
Born in Rome, Georgia, she was a faithful member of Catawba Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Prior to retirement, she was an accountant, establishing her own company. Mrs. Faile also enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Rev. Ray V. Faile. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn P. Snipes, Martha P. Clark, Sarah P. Canty, Rebecca P. Thatcher, Melba Jean Plyler, and her great-granddaughter, Hannah Grace Cooke.
Survivors include her children, Enola F. West (Bill); Ray V. Faile II, Aaron K. Faile (Nita), Angela F. Cox (Jonathan), eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five half-brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Faile at 12:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Catawba Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors starting at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery.
