Rock Hill, SC – Frank “Pete” Patton Head, Sr., 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Born in Rock Hill, Pete was the son of the late Aaron Head and the late Josephine Hammond Head. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Head, his nephews, Charlie Gay and Johnny Dale King, and his niece, Whitney King.
Pete worked in Construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors. You could often find him fishing, hunting, and sitting on his porch.
Surviving are his son, Frank “Patton” Head Jr. (Rachel); his grandchildren, Lillian Head and Michael Head; his sisters, Teresa Hodges, Phyllis Lewis, Nancy Bradbury, and Linda Sue Gay; numerous nieces and nephews; a special great-niece, Arbor, who spent a lot of time with him; and Tanner, his loyal 4-legged companion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pete’s name to Agape Care Hospice, 1069 Bayshore Dr., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
