Rene Mendez (Felipe Cabrera), 57, has passed away on February 29, 2024 in Rock Hill, SC. Felipe was born in Puebla, Mexico to Oliva Villa Guerrero and Pedro Cabrera Solis. He later moved to the US later in his life. He first lived in the state of Maryland and later moved to the
state of South Carolina.
Throughout his life he had many occupations ranging from a painter to a construction worker but at the end, the one that stuck to him was Landscaping. This was the occupation that he loved and enjoyed doing.
Rene (Felipe) was a hardworking, honest, inspirational, and strong individual but most importantly a father, husband, friend, cousin, and uncle. He was someone who you could look up to.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Francisca Chavez; two daughters, Jennifer Cabrera, and Cindy Garcia; two sons, Alexis Cabrera, and Yair Cabrera; and numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
