Rock Hill – Mr. Robert Wayne Elkins, 74, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Carolina Gardens at York.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, with Rev. Patrick Roddey officiating.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Elkins was the son of the late George Elkins and the late Dot Parkinson Elkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Whisonant Elkins; and his brother, Richard Elkins. He was retired from Paddock Pool with 41 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, working outdoors and carpentry.
Surviving are his two sons, Randy (Tyhitia) Elkins and James David (Malkara) Elkins, both of Rock Hill; his daughter, Valerie Elkins of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Ashley Bouknight, Isiah Elkins, and Grace Elkins; three sisters, Barbara (Billy) Wray of Midland, NC, Katie (Terry) White and Mary Ellen (Dick) Clark, both of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
