Great Falls, SC – Robert Frank Broom Jr., 68, passed away on April 12, 2024. He was born in Camden, SC on November 4, 1955 to the late Robert Frank Broom Sr. and the late Hazel Wilson Broom. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Burma Gladden and Denise Graham.
He is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth (David) Rodriguez, Allison (William) Manning; three sisters, Darlene (David) Helms, Rhonda (the late Daryl) Toole, Janice (the late Edward) Kirkland; four grandchildren, Estrella O’meara, Landon Rodriguez, Logan Manning, Ava Rodriguez; along with many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Broom was a member at Emmanuel Baptist of Fort Lawn, SC. He worked for Spring’s Industry for many years. He was a big time Gamecock fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hanging out with friends, and fishing.
There will be a visitation on April 21, 2024 at 2 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 531 Edwards Road, Fort Lawn, SC, 29714. A Memorial Service will follow after the visitation at 3 PM.
