Lando, SC – Ronald Edgar Harrelson (Perky), 71, passed away on March 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 10, 1953, in Dillon, SC, to Annie Jenkins and the late William Edgar (Ed) Harrelson.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Patty T. Harrelson; daughter, Heather Harrelson Land (Stacey); sisters, Judy Hursey (Ricky), Marilyn Kay During, Joann Jenkins, Lisa Jenkins (Reid), Sherrill Dollar; granddaughters, Haven Land, Holland Land; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his father William Edgar (Ed) Harrelson, his brother Terry Jenkins, step-father, Joe Jenkins; step-mother, Doris Harrelson and step-sister Karen Laws.
Ronald served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a crane operator at PPM. He loved his family and grandchildren the most and enjoyed driving them around on their gocart, and fishing and hunting among other things.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11 AM at Lando Cemetery, 3835 Eternal Road, Lando, SC, 29729. Military rites will be rendered at the graveside.
