Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Shirley J. Taylor passed away at age 83 on October 16, 2023.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Lexington, NC to the late Dermont and Edith Tysinger. She was a military wife and moved 12 times in 18 years to various places around the country. She loved camping, being in the RV, and spending time with family on camping trips. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gerlad Sidney Taylor; daughter, Tabatha Lynn Taylor Mullenix. She is survived by her son, Robbin Scott Taylor; four grandchildren, Michael Scott Taylor, Robyn Elizabeth Taylor, Sidney and Nicklaus Mullenix.
There will be a visitation at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732 on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11:00 am. A Memorial Service will take place after the visitation at 12 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
