Rock Hill, SC – Sylvia Anne Frailey (nee Doggett), 82, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on July 1, 2023 at her home.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Old York Road. Visitation with family and friends will be prior to the service from 9:30 am until 10:45 am.

Mrs. Frailey was born on February 26, 1941, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Sylvia Hicks Doggett and Lucille Stone Doggett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Myron “Mike” Frailey; her sister, Pat Cabiness; her brother, Joe Doggett; her son-in-law, Sam Morton.

Sylvia was a loving mother, loyal friend, and protector of the family. She was known for her modesty, grace, and true southern charm, making everyone feel like family and always welcome to her home. She was a selfless and kind-hearted individual, always putting others before herself. Sylvia’s legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her throughout her life. Sylvia graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1963 which is where she met her future husband in the chemistry lab. They were married for 53 years and had many great adventures as they built their family. She was the glue of the Frailey Adventures; making sure everyone was accounted for and had a safe place to come home. Sylvia was an active member of the Rock Hill Women’s Club, where she held various leadership roles and had a special love for managing the Women’s Club House.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Myra Frailey Morton, Marnie (Amy Westbrook) Frailey, David (Tammy) Frailey, Dean (Kathryn) Frailey; grandsons, Trey (Katilynne) Croom, Connor Frailey, Alexey Morton, Jackson Frailey, Logan Frailey, Stone Frailey, Tyler Frailey; her granddaughters, Ragan Croom, Nikki Morton; her great-grandson, Jaiden Moore. Special thanks to her beloved caregiver, Sheila Nelson, who helped the entire family.
