Terry Gilbert Williams, Sr., a beloved son, husband, father, friend, uncle and cousin, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was surrounded by his wife, his son and other loved ones. He was born in Rock Hill, SC on March 6,1953 to Jim & Martha Williams. He lived most of his life in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, S.C.
Terry was kind, generous and loved to make people laugh or smile. His dedication to his family was unwavering.
Terry served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard for 14 years. He was a member of Catawba Lodge 56 A.F.M. in Fort Mill, S.C. He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. He was the superintendent of the Fort Mill WasteWater Treatment Plant until his retirement in
2015. He loved his North Carolina Tarheels and the Greenbay Packers.
Terry is preceded in death by his father, James Gilbert Williams, his mother, Martha Osborne Williams and his grandson, Terry Williams Montgomerey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Butler Williams, his daughter, Angela Williams Montgomery (husband Christopher-Bo), his son, Terry (Bo) Gilbert Williams, Jr. (wife Holly), step-daughters, Brantlee B. Correll (husband Curtis, Suzanne M. Brewer and step-son, Marc Brewer (wife Sandra). He was T-Paw, Paw-T or Pop to twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Survived also by his sister, Vicki Williams Hood of Clemson, S.C. and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life to honor his memory will be held on February 14th, 2-4pm at his home,
2453 Oakwood Circle, Rock Hill, S.C. 29732. His wishes were for family and friends to gather, laugh and talk about his life.
