Catawba – Mrs. Thelma B. Osborne, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Mrs. Osborne was born in Kershaw County, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Lewis Branham and the late Grace Hoover Branham. She was a long time member of Friendship Methodist Church. Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Thomas B. Osborne.
Mrs. Osborne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a homemaker who loved entertaining her family and friends with her cooking. She loved fishing, working with her hands, and home making.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Friendship Methodist Church, 1200 Neely Store Road, Rock Hil, South Carolina 29730 with Reverend Lynn Shore-Hollis officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 pm until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Osborne is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Osborne (Scott) of Catawba, SC; her brothers, Richard “Boots” (Phyllis) Osborne of Rock Hill and Gerald Osborne (Dorcus) of Cleveland, NC; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Sturgis (Jeff) of Irmo, SC; her great-grandson, Holden Sturgis of Irmo, SC; her step-grandchildren, Brandley Terrell and Colby Therrell; and six nieces and one nephew.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and support of Hospice and Community – Palliative and Hospice care teams, the care team at the Rock Hill Grove and to Senior Helper (especially Ms. Evelyn).
