Rock Hill, SC – Thelma Yvonne VanSeeters, 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill with Rev. Rick Martin officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. VanSeeters was the daughter of the late James H Scott and the late Nannie Nix Scott. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Shaver, second husband Frank VanSeeters, her sisters, Judy Lucille Wells, Mary Barnes; her brothers, Melvin Scott, Larry Scott, James Scott; her grandsons, Steven Shaver, II, and Bryant Earle. She was retired from Pruitt Health – Rock Hill with 24 years of service. She was a long-time member of Eastview Baptist Church.
Mrs. VanSeeters is survived by her three sons, Darrell (Denise) Shaver of York, SC, Steven (Debbie) Shaver of Garfield, NJ, Roy Shaver of Rock Hill; three daughters, Nancy (David) Williford, and Kathleen (Jimmy) Stone both of Rock Hill, Patricia (Robert) Stajin of Chester, SC; her sister, Diane (Carroll) Mathis of Sharon, SC; ten grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; her fur baby, “Fluffy”.
The family wishes to thank her loving caretakers, Crystal McNiel and Victoria Shaver.
