Rock Hill, SC – Tommy Lee Quick, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, January 30, 2026.
Born in Hanna City, Illinois on September 7, 1939, Tommy was the son of the late Robert Francis Quick and Amyne Sarah Elizabeth Largent Quick. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric, four sisters, and one brother.
Tommy is remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a long-haul truck driver. He attended Farmington High School in Farmington, IL. He loved watching his St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears play. He was a member of the Teamsters and the Masons. He liked to dance “The Swing” with his wife, golf, bowl, and fish.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Linda Lou Hinderliter Quick, his children, Teri (John) Goldsmith of Vonore, TN, Tommy (Michelle) Quick of Rock Hill, and Lisa (Kent) Zessin, of Rock Hill, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 4:00PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tommy’s name to The American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
