Rock Hill, SC – Wanda Hanna Shearin, 73, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Wanda was the daughter of the late Herbert Alexander Hanna and the late Juanita Mattox Hanna. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Alexander Hanna, Jr, sister, Joanne Hanna Martin, her niece, Jodie Fudge Daigle and stepmother, Sara Comer/Hanna.
Wanda enjoyed cooking, knitting, painting and her art therapy classes through Atrium Health LeVine Cancer Institute (LCI) in Charlotte, NC.
She was a member of the Rock Hill YMCA where she was a water aerobics instructor. She was also a member of the Teal Magnolias, a cancer fundraising organization at LCI where she assisted in fundraising for the Stiletto Sprint fundraiser for several years.
Wanda is survived by her husband & college sweetheart, William Randall Shearin of 49 years; her daughter, Paige Shearin, her sister, Gloria Fudge/Plyler, and many loving nieces and nephews, including Donnie Martin (Sandy), Jan Elliot (Allen), Ashley Merkel (Chris), and many other nieces and nephews.
She would also like to express her extreme gratitude to R. Wendell Naumann and his staff at LCI.
The family will receive and welcome friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
