Windell Ray Jenkins, 74, of Rock Hill, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born on November 18, 1950, in York County, SC, to the late J.W. Jenkins and Ruby Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was a faithful member of Pleasant & Grove United Methodist Church in Richburg, SC. He was also a proud member of Masonic Lodge #416 and the Shriners Club. He retired from Springs Industries after 29 years of dedicated service. He was a great friend to many and a wonderful Pop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jenkins, and his son, Gerald Wayne Jenkins. He is survived by his son, Windell Ray Jenkins Jr. of Rock Hill; daughter, Brandy Thompson of Chester, SC; and his brother, Harold Jenkins of Catawba, SC.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with visitation beginning one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
