Buddy was well-known for his unwavering love and commitment to his family, selflessness, sense of humor, and work ethic. He enjoyed watching movies, collecting coins, repairing things, doing housework, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Despite the tragic loss of his son, Rian, Buddy managed to keep his family together, firmly believing in staying active and refusing to let anything discourage him. During difficult times, he held everything together like glue, and he could be relied on. Buddy cherished his Winn-Dixie friends and family, as well as his friendship with Mark Kaveh of Express Beverage, whom he considered a son.
